Pressley has picked up a new trick within the last week. On Friday, I was outside cutting the grass. I didn't want to have to worry about where Pressley was in the yard, so I just let him play by himself in the house. I went in to check on him, and this is how I found him.

"Um, excuse me. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?" was all I could think when I saw this. How could an almost 6 pound dog just get on the counter? I couldn't be upset because he is just too darn cute and smart for figuring out how to do this. I immediately texted Jordan this picture (too bad Press isn't posing like usual for this one) telling him I had no idea how this happened.
I finally figured out, probably two days later, how Pressley managed such a feat. There is a wall between the kitchen in my house and what is supposed to be the dining room. There is a small cut-out in that wall, maybe 1.5 by 2 feet that could be used to get things from the kitchen to the dining room. Instead of having dining room furniture in that part of the common room, we just have extra living room furniture. There is a couch against the wall that the little inlet is on. Pressley figured out to jump on the couch, then to the top of the couch, then through the hole in the wall, to get onto the kitchen counter. I raise smart ones, what can I say?
