Year in Review

This past year has been a year full of excitement. It has been a year of firsts and a year of lasts. As I look forward to the new year, I cannot help but think about where I was at the beginning of this year and what has happened over the past year.

During this year, my sister and another close childhood friend got engaged. Alabama won their 2nd national title in my lifetime. I graduated from college with honors (something I did not do in high school), I was in 3 weddings--my sister and 2 of my close childhood friends, I traveled to California, I got ENGAGED!, I started graduate school, I worked 2 jobs while going to school, and I started a blog. I said goodbye to close friends as they graduated and moved on. I made new friendships, and old ones were revived.

This next year I'm getting MARRIED and hopefully will find my first big girl job. I will be moving to Birmingham, to an apartment (I've never lived in an apartment). I'll say goodbye to Tuscaloosa, my church, and friends I've made here. I'm so excited about what the future has in store, about marriage, and starting a new phase in mine and Jordan's lives.

I'm thankful for this past year, the triumphs and the struggles. I'm thankful for everything I have learned and for all the love I've been shown.
