"I thank my God in all of my remembrance of you." -Philippians 1:3

Two years ago today, the world and my family lost a whole lot of happy. My grandmother left this world for a better place. There is not a day I do not think of her, and so many things that happen remind me of her. I learned so much from her long and full life that was defined by her love for her God and for the people around her. Some people make our lives better simply be being in it, and she was one of those people for me and I know she was for others as well.

As you can tell from the picture below, my sweet Grandmother always had a huge smile on her face. People knew her because of her smile and her love for life. Over the past 2 plus years, the Lord has used the life of this extraordinary woman to teach me about Himself and who He wants me to be. I'm so thankful to have been blessed with such a great influence in my life.

I want to leave a legacy. How will they remember me? Did I choose to love? Did I point to You enough to make a mark on things?
