I'm always looking for new ideas for my blog, and lately I've had a lot going on but still do not feel I have a lot to talk about. You may have seen the "30 day Photo Challenge" on Facebook, but one of my childhood friends gave me the idea to do it on here after starting it on her blog. So, this is not a "Carlin original," but it should be fun nonetheless.

The first day challenge is to post a picture with 15 facts about yourself (or, in my case, myself).

1. My name is Carlin. It's not a family name, just a compromise between my mom and dad. I've always loved my name. To me, it's unique but not a name that makes you wonder what in the world the parents were thinking.

2. I am an extreme rule follower. You tell me to do something; I'm going to do it. I once cried in high school because a teacher jokingly called me an instigator.

3. I floss my teeth every night. I'm slightly obsessed with my teeth. I have never had a cavity in my almost 23 (really??) years.

4. I get overwhelmed easily, especially when there are a lot of decisions. I do not do well shopping in Target or Old Navy. You can absolutely forget about Forever 21.

5. I am a neat freak. I put things back exactly where I got them from. My closet is organized by type of shirt (sleeveless, short sleeve, etc.) and each type goes from casual to progressively nicer. I can always tell when someone gets something of mine because I know exactly what's missing.

6. Although I'm quirky about somethings, I'm extremely laid back. It sometimes stresses my fiance and mom out (especially my mom with wedding planning).

7. Speaking of, I'm getting married on May 28 to my best friend in the entire world.

8. I am not a morning or night person. I just like to sleep!

9. I LOVE to sing. I'm not that good at it, but I'm always singing.

10. I have curly hair, but it was board straight until I was about 10 years old.

11. My favorite food is Thanksgiving food--Turkey, ham, cornbread, dressing, sweet potato casserole.

12. I do not like to cook. I would rather clean up after someone else has cooked.

13. I never buy anything at full price. My sister makes fun of me because she asked me one time if she was getting a good deal on a Fossil purse at TJ Maxx that was originally $100+ for $30. I told her it was good for her, but I'd never spend that much on a purse.

14. I've read about 12 books this year, besides school books. That's probably more books than I read during all 4 years of college combined.

15. I love my life. I love the people in it. I love the One who created me.
