Spring is in the Air Blog Challenge Day 1

I came across this challenge from Megan at Little Girl in the Big World. There is a topic for the first 5 days of spring!

The topics are...

1. What do you look forward to most about spring and what about winter are you going to miss?
(March 21)

2. What's your favorite spring outfit {or two}?
(March 22)

3. Where are you/would you be headed for spring break this year (real or ideal)?
(March 23)

4. What are some recommendations for products you'll be using this spring as you're headed outdoors more?
(March 24)

5. What recipe or food do you look forward to most during the springtime?
(March 25)

For today...What do you look forward to most about spring and what about winter are you going to miss?

1. Barefeet. I love being barefoot. It is always a sad day when it's gotten so cold that I have to wear socks. When I wash my sheets, I always find a pile of socks at the foot of the bed as I am taking them off. I am probably one of the only people that does not consider tennis shoes to be the most comfortable shoes. I love being barefoot so much that during the summers when I was little, it was not odd for my dad to set me on the kitchen counter and wash my feet in the sink because they were so dirty. I just love not wearing shoes, or, now that I am a refined adult (ha), sandals.

2. Sundresses. I love the simplicity of a sundress, the ease at which I can wear it. I can just throw it on and automatically feel like I'm looking good.

3. Graduation. This time last year as I was preparing to graduate from undergrad, I did not feel prepared for the big scary world out there. I wanted to push the pause button and keep things exactly how they were. This year as I'm preparing to graduate with my Masters...not so much. I have a more stressful semester and miss being in the classroom everyday. I'm SO ready to graduate this time.

4. Moving to the City. Alright, it might not really be the city, but you must remember that I thought Tuscaloosa was big when I first started college. When Jordan and I move to Birmingham, it's going to be hard. I'm going to miss what has been my home for the last 5 years, the relationships I've formed, and the church I have become so involved in. I know it's what is right. I'm excited that Jordan will be able to continue his education and prepare for what he has been called to do through school.

5. I'M GETTING MARRIED! On May 28, I will no longer be a single lady. I'll become a Mrs. Jordan and I have been dating over 4 years, and I am more than ready to become his wife. I've written a ton of mushy stuff about him on this blog, and I'm not afraid to do it again:) He's amazing. I can't wait.

What will I miss about winter? Excuse me, you must not know me, ha. I do not like winter. Yeah, not really at all. I'm searching for an answer for this one. I'll miss hot drinks (hard for me to drink them when it's hot), my awesome Patagonia jacket that my even more awesome parents got me for Christmas without me even asking, and I have a couple of great sweaters, I guess, that I might miss.
