since I've been gone

For my faithful followers out there, sorry I have been away from the blog scene lately. It's spring break this week and blogging has not been on my mind. This weekend and first part of the week, Jordan and I were in Georgia with my family. I'll recap the last several days in a list form...

Saturday-Jordan and I traveled to Atlanta with a pit stop in Birmingham for job interviews. We both interviewed for a summer day camp just for something to do during the summer (we're a student and a teacher). We met my parents, sister, and brother in law at their apartment and got to spend some fun time by the river (just behind their apartment...unreal). We then ate way too much at a cute Mexican restaurant in the Vinings area, "La Paz."

Sunday-Jordan, mom, dad, and I enjoyed the warm weather and shopped in Macon. After a trip to Dillards, Belk, and DSW, I left DSW with a new pair of brown gladiators. We spent some time in Dick's Sporting Goods, and you better believe it that Dad and Jordan were making some "off color" jokes pertaining to the name of the store. Jordan and I had been planning on having engagement pictures taken in ATL on Tuesday but, because of the looming rain that was supposed to make its appearance on Tuesday, we talked with the photographer Sunday and got the day changed to Monday.

Monday-Jordan and I traveled to a doctor's appointment for myself and then to ATL. We ate at "The Varsity" because Jordan had never had one of those delicious, greesy hamburgers. We had fun taking pictures. I was so proud of my fiance who does not usually enjoy having his picture taken. Hopefully we'll have some cute ones!

We traveled back on Tuesday and have been taking it easy. We washed both of our cars yesterday and grilled ribs this morning for lunch. I'm looking forward to trying a new restaurant in town, 5, with some Bible study friends tonight.

How are yall enjoying your time so far after "springing forward?" I'm loving these super long days!
