New Ideas

This week I've had a new idea for my blog. I want the idea of my blog to remain a smorgasboard of things--to simply be the many thoughts that go through my mind. Those that are close to me know that I am 2 things--thrifty and practical. I wouldn't necessarily say I own a lot of cool things, but I have realized over the past few days some of the material possessions I have that have made things in my life easier. No, they are not necessary but they are practical. I also am really good at getting deals on things. My sweet friend, Emily, who is often my shopping companion knows this to be completely true. I'll come across an item that I absolutely fall in love with and then put back as soon as I look at the price tag. I will not venture to say that I am the best at finding deals, but I sure do love to find deals.

With all of this said, my blog is going to take a new direction. I still will talk about the going-ons of my ordinary life, but I will also talk about some ways to be thrifty, things that I think that are almost must-haves (if you're looking for something in the department), and things I simply love. I may impart some wisdom every once and again (good, deep thoughts are scarce for me).
