Great is Thy Faithfulness

Today has been a full day for sure. For the past couple of weeks, Jordan has been in contact with the Tuscaloosa City School System. They called him in a couple of weeks ago for an interview for an unassigned math position. He had a meeting with a principal today, and it is looking very promising for him!! We're so thankful. We know a lot of people have been praying about this and have been very encouraging of him. Continue to pray because it's not a done deal yet, but it looks very encouraging!

Now, on my end...most of you probably know that I graduated a couple of weeks ago and start grad school in June. My program is a year long if you can be a full time student, so full time student I'll be. This may seem the opposite for most masters programs, but I feel like I'll have a lot more time during grad school because I won't be student teaching. So...I started to look for a part time job several weeks ago. I applied to several different places. I hadn't heard back from any of them and found out that my old job at the church as a children's intern was an option, so I inquired about that. It seemed as soon as I was a definite for that job other places were calling me back for interviews. I started my old job at the church today and had an interview at Kinnucan's. I have a phone interview with Sylvan Learning Center tomorrow. I'm so thankful for my job at the church but would love to have a second job to occupy my time and help me to save money for the future. So, please pray for the Lord's provision in these opportunities.

I feel so blessed right now and am just overwhelmed by God's provision and faithfulness. Whatever comes of these jobs, I know that He's holding me and is in control. What comfort that brings!!

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands. -Deuteronomy 7:9

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
