longing for summer

Before yesterday, I owned a total of 2 swimsuits that I actually wear. Summer is my favorite season. I prefer to be in the sun in my swim suit all day long. I love how the sun creates new freckles across my nose and lightens the color of my hair.

For our honeymoon, Jordan and I are going to Jamaica! I'm so excited, and of course I want to look cute...what girl doesn't want to on her honeymoon? A few weeks ago, I received a text message from Jordan telling me that Lands' End Canvas was having a sale, and he had an extra promotional code for 20% savings on top of the already reduced prices on clearance items. I had told him several months ago that I had found the Canvas line that Lands' End had put out and had fallen in love with the look but not the prices. I know, many of you are probably thinking, Lands' End reminds me of flannel and turtlenecks and clothes that do not fit right. I was right there with you, until now.

I ordered 2 new swimsuits and 2 cover-ups and only spent $30+. Swimsuits, which have barely any fabric, are usually way too expensive to justify spending the money on. Hence the fact that before yesterday I only had 2 swimsuits I actually wear. Before Christmas, I bought *just a top* at Kinnucan's for $5, so now, in theory I have 3 new swimsuits, and I almost forgot to mention 2 fabulous cover-ups.
