I also changed the title of my blog. The title is derived from the Francesca Battistelli song "Free to Me" which speaks about the freedom found in Christ, that we are accepted just as we are. I've always had a liking for this song, since the first time I heard it. I felt as though I related really well to it. For as long as I remember, I've hidden behind my clothes and "put together" look, hoping that everyone did see someone who had it all together when looking at me. News flash--I don't.
I'm loud. I say the wrong things at the wrong time. I laugh at inappropriate times. I'm easily angered. I get really silly when it's past my bedtime. I'm not a perfect person, and that is okay. That's something I've been taught over and over because I simply cannot understand. I never got sent to the principal's office or had detention in junior high or high school. I do well in school. I turn assignments in on time. I save my money. No matter how good I am. It's not good enough, and that is okay. I'm loved for who I am. I'm a sinner saved by grace through a perfect Savior. I cannot get to the Father except through him. This may seem elementary, but this has been a theme of my life.
